ABLES - Assessment Intervention Tutoring

We’ve been working with Alecia for the past 18 months to support our daughter, who has both dyslexia and dyscalculia, and we can’t recommend her highly enough. Maths has always been a real challenge for our daughter, but Alecia has completely transformed the way she approaches her study. From the beginning, Alecia took the time to understand how our daughter learns best and tailored lessons to suit her needs. What’s been most incredible is the way Alecia has helped build her confidence. She now approaches schoolwork with a much more positive attitude and is no longer afraid to make mistakes or ask questions. Her grades have improved considerably (Ds to Bs) but more importantly, she has built her belief in herself. That’s down to the encouragement and consistent support Alecia has given her. Alecia is a fantastic tutor and I highly recommend her! My son really enjoys his math tutoring sessions and is learning so much from her. I really appreciate all the effort Alecia puts in to planning each tutoring session. She is also flexible and able to make changes during the session if my son needs to spend extra time on a particular aspect of the lesson. She makes each session fun, while still being educational, and my son looks forwards to his tutoring with her each week.
