⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big thanks to The Academy of Gymnastics for joining us at the Alkimos Free Family Fun Day! 🤸♀️ Sue and her team brought so much energy, fun activities, and smiles for kids of all ages. We loved seeing the alkimos community get moving and having a blast together. Highly recommend checking them out if you want a friendly and professional gymnastics experience!
My daughter had been attending weekly sessions at the academy for the last 2½ years, twice weekly for the best part of 2024. She eventually became bored with each week being the same over and over again. The coaches didn't seem to explain where she was going wrong & what she needed to work on to properly execute manoeuvres. EVER! We're now enrolled at West Coast Fury Cheerleading & just wish that we had joined Fury earlier instead of wasting all that money on fees at the academy. 1 star.
Recently paid for my 4 year old to do a trial class. Instructor was young and didn’t seem to pay much attention to her ( I explained that she was new and this is her first time) they didn’t give her any direction and she ended up just wondering around watching others but really didn’t get anything from the class. Disappointing
Tried to enrol my daughter for tumbling classes after being told we had a spot twice then telling us we didn't. One VERY upset little girl!! Did go to gymnastics classes before trying for tumbling but left as all the coaches were very young and inexperienced with little girls. Felt like it was an over paid childcare instead of lessons. Tried to change classes to see if it improved but got let down twice ...def wouldn't recommend
Horrible place with a hint of racist staff/coach. I felt so disrespected and the way that coach talked to me was very condescending and rude, as if like I wasn't a paying customer. I believe she would have talked to me differently if I was a white woman. Very bad people skill and customer handling, badgering me continuously - just a very very upsetting experience. Would never recommend this place to anyone. The Academy should return my money and actually apologise for such treatment.
