Fantastic experience with Peter for his self defence program. It was important for me to learn the skills for my own personal confidence, but also to know my teenage daughter had the skills and knowledge to defend herself should the need arise. What we learnt went beyond my expectations. I now feel confident in knowing how to defend and get out of situations safely (with some fierceness if I need to!). Peter and his team were welcoming and supportive, providing safe and thoughtful hands on experience and practice throughout. Highly recommend for all women to join this program to change how they feel in different situations.

I recently organised for my team to attend a Empowering Self Defence program with Peter. From the very first meeting I was so impressed with Peter's professionalism and passion for the work he does. We discussed what specific circumstances we struggle with in our line of work to help us make the most of our session. The session was incredibly educational, and ended up being a great team building exercise as well. We came out of it feeling confident and educated on how to remain safe in any situation. I attended a group self-defence class with Peter. He was an extremely effective teacher; friendly/welcoming, engaging and supportive. He managed to create a great atmosphere for fun and learning. The course covered a good mix of physical and non-physical strategies for keeping oneself safe. Highly recommended!

I just completed the three-week self defence course as I am a female solo-traveler, and I absolutely loved it. Mia taught us fundamental self defence strategies when faced against someone who may grab your wrist, pin you against a wall, bear hug you, choke you and more. We learnt how to defend ourselves from a standing position and also when on the floor. It was a great combination of self-defence, Karate, and Jujitsu. Highly recommend for women wanting to have some basic idea of how to defend themselves.

My son has recently attended self defence and anti-bullying workshop at ASDMA and am proud of my decision. Peter walked through kids with excellent techniques how to be emotionally strong, stay super happy, not allowing bully to take away your smile and at the same time defend yourself without hurting anyone.
