The newly built Adelaide Aquatic Centre is absolutely fantastic. The facilities are modern, clean, and very well designed for people of all ages. The pools are spacious and well maintained, and the whole environment feels fresh and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a great place for swimming, fitness, and family time. Adelaide really needed a facility like this, and it has been built to a very high standard. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, exercise, or enjoy a great day out in the water. 🌊🏊‍♂️

Incredibly inclusive with plenty of separate change rooms in addition to the large male/female ones. Every pool is in its own room, cutting down noise, and there’s a sensory room too for noise breaks. Every pool has an access ramp. Lifeguards are attentive and helpful; instructors are friendly and welcoming. A fantastic warm water pool for over-16s only is a huge drawcard, used by aqua classes, the elderly, people with disabilities and recreational swimmers without needing to dodge noisy/unpredictable kids. (I love kids, but I also access to some child-free spaces is important for various community members). Hopefully young learners will be able to practice in the warm learn-to-swim pool outside their lesson times. The waterslides are modern, really fun, and well-managed. While brown isn’t my favourite colour, I think they’ve done a wonderful job of blending into the parklands and once landscaping has a chance to grow it will look even better. It’s very busy outside school hours but that’s to be expected in the first week at a new facility. I’m very happy with my membership so far; there are teething issues but they will work it out. I suggest if you can’t cope with those (and that’s ok) maybe go to another pool until they’ve had a chance to settle in. We have to remember that this is a whole new facility that opened very quickly after building finished, with a brand new team of people.

Well done opening new centre. Very inclusive with plenty of separate areas. My kids loved water slides there (line 1&2 for big kid, and line 3&4 for little kids), available for people 5+y.o. and 120+cm height. I would like to try sauna room next time.

Adelaide Aquatic Centre Wow — what an incredible development. Absolutely breathtaking. The new Adelaide Aquatic Centre is truly impressive and thoughtfully designed. The facilities are outstanding, from the hydrotherapy pool to the multiple swimming pools, fully equipped gym, Pilates and yoga classes, and fantastic kids’ pools. The addition of a small daycare for little ones is such a bonus, giving mums and dads a well-deserved break. The standout features have to be the water slides and the Saunders outdoor pools — amazing! The café is also excellent, and overall everything feels modern, fresh, and exciting. It really is a beautiful space. The only downside was the staffing experience. The staff are clearly under the pump, and there doesn’t seem to be enough of them. During sign-up, the young lady assisting us was interrupted multiple times while helping different people at once, and the system issues added to the frustration. There were also moments where personal conversations between staff — including discussing shifts and finishing times — happened in front of clients. A more professional and organised front-of-house approach would really elevate the experience. That said, aside from this, the centre itself is stunning. With a bit more staffing and structure, it will be absolutely perfect.

Was expecting SO much more...boring...nothing worked in the kids area. Pools are all in separate rooms with a cold walk anywhere. The change rooms were small and cramped. No children's toilets. Temperature of heated pool not 32 degrees. Really disappointing. Might be better in summer with outdoor pools and working slides
