Sensei Bernie is a fantastic teacher, a true teacher, balancing structure and clear guidance with kindness. I love the life lessons he instills in the students as it's rare these days that young people in particular get this guidance. It's not just physical skills but social skills like respecting each other, listening, showing respect and speaking up with confidence that are fast becoming forgotten in most environments these days. My daughter is thriving there.

My Daughter has trained with Bernie for almost 2 years and it has been fantastic for her confidence and discipline. She truly loves training and learning the disciplines of Goju Kai Karate. I would absolutely recommend AGKK to anyone looking to give their kids a safe and family oriented environment to learn some great skills for life.

Bernie is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher (sensei). Upon starting I felt very welcomed by the entire group and everyone is very helpful and encouraging. I already have way more confidence since starting and feel apart of a community. I am so lucky to have found Bernie and the team.
