ANU School of Music

A truly exceptional and well appointed school with a good range of disciplines and an abundance of programs for youth through to seniors. They run everything from Bachelor, post-graduate and doctoral degree courses through to Community Music programs such as jazz, classical and adult Composition, Aural Theory, Rock School and Song To Studio plus many other areas of participation and study, to expose emerging artists to formal processes of music creation, performance and production. The recent refurbishments have given the buildings a new lease of life! A great school, long may it thrive to support our budding musicians and producers alike. Currently undergoing major renovations to roof and outdoors, looking forward to a new lease of life!

We used ANU School of Music's "Finishing Touch" service to hire three student musicians (strings) for our recent wedding ceremony. The musicians played a mix of requested music and music of their own choice (their recommendations were excellent). The quality and professionalism of the musicians was exceptional, and the price for the service was very reasonable. We would highly recommend Finishing Touch for other weddings or events.
