Brilliant and Engaging. The students and staff were both captured by the energy and engagement of the presenters. They engaged with all ages so well and the children loved both watching the performance and being able to have a go and beating their own drum. We invited Asanti Dance Theatre to be part of Refugee Week 2025 celebration. They have been very professional and easy to work with, from making the arrangements and being accommodating and responsive, to the engaging and interactive performance enjoyed by all!

Appiah recently facilitated a workshop for our community group of adults with neurodenerative disorders The experience was an interactive exploration of his wide repertoire of talents His mastery of communication and skill in involving his audience were remarkable Participants who started drumming with trepidation emerged as knowledgeable, empowered individuals with a sense of joy, connection , inclusivity and improved wellbeing A truly unforgettable journey. I was absolutely blown away by Asanti, both in the lead-up to the event and during the performance itself. Their communication, organisation, and flexibility were exceptional throughout the entire process. I could not recommend them more highly! We invited Asanti to perform at a staff forum on African Cultural Awareness, and it was truly an incredible experience. Kat made the planning process seamless, which was especially impressive given the unique constraints of our environment. They were also incredibly accommodating to our budget and time constraints. The performance was engaging, Appiah and the other performers were inviting, and lively. Feedback from several team members was that they initially had no intention of dancing or participating, but found themselves captivated, dancing, singing, and drumming along. It exceeded all expectations. I am deeply impressed with Asanti’s professionalism, talent, and ability to create a memorable experience. I would gladly work with them again and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a dynamic and enriching team activity.
