Ascot Aquatics Centre

Our two children have been attending weekly swim class at Ascot. We absolutely love the swim coaches here! Luke and Stella have been so kind, patience and professional! The admin team try so hard to make things work for our children. The place is relatively clean (sometimes the change room gets chaotic and messy - but understandable when there are so many children using the change room). Overall, we are very happy here! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love coming here and Vicky and all the staff are always welcoming I discovered this slice of heaven after I had a bad Injury and the hydrotherapy has been a godsend , this is my go to Emma the onsite physio who I’ve ber. Seing for three years has been having is quite possibly the most incredible , she has quite literally given le my Life back , I don’t know of any other physio who really cares so much about all her clients and really works wonders Thanks to Vicky and all the staff for your awesome service 🌸🌸

What a delight to have Ascot Aquatics Centre newly opened in our area. I found the aqua aerobics to be just terrific, and a routine I will not break easily. Our instructor (Caroline) has the class, working hard, while we follow instruction and her movements. A quick rest between sets and we are all smiles on completion of our 1 hour workout. Friendships have developed, and why not - the place is cheery and bright, extremely clean and follows Covid protocol. The pool is pristine, slightly heated, and has magnesium salts, with all its benefits. Vicky as the desk, is friendly, happy and helpful, she also offers discounts for seniors, we love that! There is car parking on the premises, and street parking of course. FYI, I am often asked is deep water? - the answer is no. During our Aqua class your head ears are never under water.

Worst customer service ever. I tried to call numerous times over maybe 2 months. No one ever answered the phone. I physically went into the location three times and was told only Vicky can do sign ups, hard to sign up when no one returns your calls or even when you go in and leave your details to be called back. I even witnessed the phone ringing unanswered when I was in there… Anyway…. Seems like a great school and the facilities look amazing but good luck signing up 😂

I was very disappointed to be greeted by a staff member who made no eye contact, muttered an expressionless "hi" and seemed extremely disinterested in dealing with me! It was my first day so I ignored it. But she was consistent and the same thing happened the next time. As it's all glass inside, I was able to view her interacting with others as they arrived and she appeared to be the same with everyone, so it wasn't just about me! I mentioned this to someone that I'd met there on the day and she confirmed that this had been her experience also. Further to that, a friend of a friend had been there previously and said she'd also experienced this from what appeared to be the same staff member. I sent a complaint through and when I'd heard nothing 4 days later, I sent a follow-up. I received a response from the owner who rather than taking responsibility, attempted to explain this ineffective communication from the staff member as "concern"! I can certainly differentiate between "concern" and "disinterest"! Needless to say, I won't be returning! If I'd simply received a deserved apology, it would have been a thing of the past, but as the owner chose to defend this unprofessional behaviour, my only choice was to find another venue, which I have!
