Fantastic school. I've been getting vocal lessons with Jock recently and he's amazing. I've had plenty of experience with Michael also who is a powerhouse of knowledge and skill. Highly recommended school for music of any kind!

I've been studying guitar with Michael for a few years now, and I can definitely vouch for the quality of education and the experience! I've seen considerable growth in my ability since starting as a beginner, and every session has been interesting, fun, and valuable. The atmosphere is wonderful, everyone is super nice and respectful, and the teachers are top-notch. I have no hesitation in recommending this school for your musical journey!

We've been both to the Hawthorn and Malvern campuses of the Michael Avery School of Music. The two locations are very similar, with many teachers teaching across both campuses, just on different days. It's a great music school! The people - teachers and administration staff - are all so skilled and so friendly at the same time. I cannot recommend MASoM highly enough! Whether you are a beginner or advanced, a child or an adult, this will be a great music school for you. We have really enjoyed the 4+ years we've been at the school so far.

I can't recommend this music school enough! I loved going here to brush up my piano skills after more than 20 years of not playing. The teachers worked with me to find music that was fun to practice to and at a pace that worked for my busy schedule. They really helped me gain back my practice and build skills and confidence again. Thankyou for helping me fall in love with piano again
