My first impression of Austgrade Swim School wasn't great. The pool isn't very big and essentially it is loacated within a large room. There is nothing more in the room except the pool. However, once meeting the instructors, my opinion completely changed. They are very knowledgeable in their ability to teach kids of different ages and abilities to swim. Although the kids learn to swim in groups, personalised approaches are given to each one. They really know what the kids can do and what they need to continue working on to improve. Each time I have been to the pool, all the instructors were working hard. They are very professional, friendly and courteous. They bring much fun and laughter to the kids.

It’s a fantastic swimming school, could not be happier!! We have tried different swimming lessons/school and this by far is the best. Our instructor Alex is very caring, loving, patient and has good strategy to deal with various emotions of different kids. Unlike other swimming schools we experienced before, I can tell my daughter is really learning to swim not just playing and be comfortable with water. Each lesson you can see her progress bit by bit, which makes us very happy. Overall it’s a very loving swimming school where kids really learn how to swim. Very grateful towards our instructors Alex!

My son had his first lesson here at Austgrade Top Ryde today. Awesome facility, very friendly staffs (Andrew and Jenny) and the instructors, especially Katheryn was super calm and professional. The pool was extremely well maintained - clean and set to perfect temperature! My son had a lot of fun today and we’ll look forward to attending future swimming lessons at Austgrade Top Ryde. The experience that we have had with Austgrade has been fantastic in every way and I cannot praise or recommend Austgrade enough. Both my daughters go there, my eldest who is now 7 started swimming at Austgrade when she was 5 years old and has excelled in her swimming techniques, thanks to the dedicated, experienced, and professional management and swim instructors (Alex, Indiana, Maria, Natalia, Ayla, Abraham) I love how each instructor has their own strengths and not only they are passionate about teaching swimming but they are also nurturing and always challenging her to her limit which makes her progress really fast. And now I love seeing my 3 yr old who had fear of water become so confident in the water and love swimming. She can now float on her back without being held and do big arms without a kick board in only 6 lessons, thanks to Alex (swim instructor) and Indie + Maria (management) who were so patient, supportive and accommodating. Love how the water is nicely heated and well maintained. Thank you Austgrade, keep up the great work!!
