An exceptional studio with outstanding technique and training. Students are supported throughout their dance journey and have the strongest faculty with so much passion and drive. Students are taught technique and performance quality through competitions and concerts. The exams they partake in give them a strong technical base to achieve success in all genres. Many students are continuing their dance and performing life working professionally in the industry in ballet companies, musical theatre productions and theatre productions around the world and Australia. A phenomenal studio from start to finish.

Joining BJDC is absolutely the best choice I made for my daughter when she was 5 years old. In the past three years she went from being self conscious to outgoing and confident. Teachers here are very friendly and caring for each individual's progress. They have various classes to suit different strengths and needs. Students like my daughter get to competitions and gain stage experience from early stage. It's really good to see little girls become disciplined and self motivated through systematic and efficient training in BJDC.

Barbara Jayne Dance Centre is one of the oldest dance schools in South Australia. Over 40 years the principal (Barbara Komazec) has been completely focused on technique offering structured classes from under 5 to the open age. If you are looking for a dance school that will provide your child with structured classes and a result that will assist them to pursue a career in the industry, this is the school for you. My sister dances here and she enjoys it a lot. The school teaches her dancing, singing, performance and drama. It is absolutely fabulous and I would definitely recommend.
