Billabong Swim School

We joined Billabong Swimming School at the start of the year after noticing our kids were struggling to complete a full lap without stopping for multiple breaths or switching styles. They were losing time in their triathlon swims, and my youngest even felt anxious during her school swimming carnival. Since starting lessons, the change has been incredible. They’re now confident in the water, enjoying every session, and giving 100% effort. Their technique, endurance and mindset have all improved so much. We've tried several other swim schools for our little one and Billabong stands out by a long way. While the other schools were fine, Billabong has talented instructors that are great dealing with kids. The school also has equipment purposely built for teaching little kids. They have been flexible and accommodating to extraordinary events. As well as all this our child now loves going in the water with a confidence built through this school. Definitely recommend.

All four of my children have learned to swim at Billabong Swim School over the past 18 years, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. After moving to Brisbane, I tried several swim schools for my 3-year-old, but none came close to the warmth, quality, and proven teaching at Billabong. Their gentle, energy-saving paddling arms technique helps kids feel confident and actually enjoy learning to swim. My daughter wasn’t progressing elsewhere, I felt like we were just wasting time and money. That’s why I now travel to Casuarina every week. It’s 100% worth it. Billabong truly stands apart, and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Excellent school focused on perfecting technique with the opportunity to swim in their Friday Night Races for practice with distance. My kids have been in since 6 months old and are now placing with confidence in their school swim carnivals. Cannot recommend this school and their staff enough.

I have 7 months old and 3,5 years old, both love swimming lessons and have been enjoying them since they were 4 months old. Swimming lessons are amazing for babies, not only for physical health but also for mental development. Teachers are true professionals, very patient and bubbly. Bella loves lessons with Giovanni:) and Judy is the legend, I couldn’t imagine babies lessons without her:)
