I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the behavior of the manager Amy Jablonskis at BK's Gymnastics Maroubra (Heffron Centre). Recently, I witnessed the manager publicly humiliate a parent and her young child in front of the entire room. The manager essentially excluded a young girl from her regular class simply because of a lack of English fluency, attempting to demote her to a class with much younger children where she has no friends. It felt like a deliberate boycott and exclusion of a child who just wanted to participate.To make matters worse, the manager chose to address this sensitive issue loudly in front of everyone else in the room instead of having a private, respectful conversation. I cannot believe this kind of exclusionary behavior still exists in Australia. People in these roles seem to forget that they are working with little children whose confidence and well-being should be protected. Absolutely unacceptable management. Avoid this place if you value inclusivity and respect.

I recently attended a birthday party at BK Gymnastics with my preschool daughter, and we both absolutely loved it! The space is perfect for young children—plenty of room to run, jump, climb, and even leap from higher spots safely. Not only did my daughter have a fantastic time, but all the kids invited were thrilled and full of joy. One of the highlights was a fun activity with the staff using a parachute—definitely a crowd favorite! We had a full hour to enjoy the gym, and we made the most of every minute.

My daughter and I have had an outstanding experience at BK and much of that is thanks to the incredible Coach Saje. From the very first class, she has made a noticeable difference in my daughter’s confidence, focus,and skill development. Her supportive, patient and engaging coaching style has helped my daughter not only improve her gymnastics techniques but also grow personally. Coach Saje has a special way of connecting with each child, creating an environment where they feel both challenged and encouraged. Futhermore, this is truly shown through how much my daughter looks forward to every session. What has impressed me most is how Coach Saje has inspired my daughter beyond the gym floor. She now talks about gymnastics with genuine passion and is eager to continue her journey with Saje long term. In fact, she’s started expressing a desire to pursue gymnastics as a future career, something we never expected when she first started! It’s a testament to the positive impact Saje has had and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of a program that nurtures not just skills, but dreams. Highly recommend!

I booked my 9 year old daughter in the whole day "holiday fun day" program. She finished the day and told me that she just did free play. I was very surprised to hear her feedback. I asked what she learnt and if she did any gymnastics related things. She said no gymnastics nothing learned. She told me that it was boring and she didn't want to go back again. I should have booked her in the netball camp next door really. What waste of time and money.

our experience with BK Gymnastics was honestly pretty disappointing. In a nutshell, they have a lot of cool equipment available, but that’s pretty much where the positives end. The teachers don’t really pay attention or guide the kids at all, so it kind of feels like you’ve just paid to let your child run around in a big playground. There’s no real instruction or structure, and you’re just left guessing what to do while kids are basically just running wild. Honestly, my daughter ended up just jumping on the trampoline on her own, and that was it. So if you’re looking for actual gymnastics instruction, this might not be the place.
