My niece just began gymnastics at BK's maybe 1-2 months ago, and she is having a blast! I'm in charge of the pick-ups and drop-offs, and she always hops in the car all bubbly and full of excitement to attend class. The instructors are lovely - she's always mentioning 'Isabelle, Zoe, Sadie and Asher'. Please commend them for their efforts. What a great team!

Run out of a warehouse style building, they offer term classes for kids K and older (grouped by skill and age group). $190 for 10 classes per term. Very good quality instructors. Seems to be very popular since they are booked solid every term for most classes. Classes are offered Mon-Fri after school, and Saturday mornings. All info on their website. Parking is on the street (free). There is a restroom on premises, with handicap access.

There has been a noticeable change in the management of this popular gymnastics site over the past few months. I contribute that mostly to Jess, the site manager, since she started managing the site I noticed a clear difference. Much more and clearer communication is provided, she seems to be on top of things. The coaches seem to be more engaged an invested in the success of the kids. The venue can do with a bit of an uplift but it’s also it’s charm. I had my son’s birthday celebrations there this year and it was really fun for the kids. I recommend it.

The instructors are lovely and patient with the kids - my son has been going since he was 2 (he's nearly 4) and loves it - he's learnt great coordination, strength and listening skills. Easy app to manage classes and flexibility to have make up classes.

My daughter attended gymnastics classes here for just over 4 months, and unfortunately, I consistently left feeling underwhelmed. From the very first trial class, there was no clear point of contact to explain how things worked. Other families seemed to know the process, and while we eventually figured it out over time, no one proactively approached us to guide or welcome us. For new families, this lack of communication can feel isolating. While the instructors were pleasant enough, many appeared disengaged, unenthusiastic and quite frankly, miserable offering no warmth or even a smile and gave me the impression they didn’t want to be there. On one occasion, I witnessed a young girl attempt to hug an instructor, only to be physically pushed away with what appeared to be a look of disgust from the instructor. It was uncomfortable to watch and didn’t reflect the nurturing environment you would hope for in a children’s class. The classes themselves felt repetitive week after week, with little clarity around progression or advancement. There was no feedback provided on my daughter’s development, and it was unclear how or when she would move forward. A significant portion of class time was often spent playing games such as Duck Duck Goose — sometimes up to a third of the lesson — which didn’t feel like a productive use of paid gymnastics instruction time. The equipment and obstacle setups were also repetitive, and I rarely saw instructors actively correcting technique. On multiple occasions, my daughter was performing skills incorrectly and even sustained minor injuries, yet no instructor intervened or appeared to notice. Classes frequently finished early. On one occasion, when I mentioned that the class time had not yet elapsed, I was told, “Oh, our clocks are fast — you can have an early mark.” This response was dismissive and unprofessional. The “Gymnast of the Week” award system was also disappointing. Rather than ensuring each child eventually received recognition, the same children were awarded multiple times while others — including my daughter — never received one. Watching her face drop yet again when she wasn’t chosen was heartbreaking. At this age and skill level, the children are all learning and developing and all average at gymnastics anyway. Recognition should encourage confidence, not unintentionally single out and discourage others. The facility itself is impressive — a large warehouse space with excellent equipment — and it has so much potential. However, after weeks of observing the same issues without improvement, we ultimately felt we had no choice but to find another gym better suited to support and encourage our daughter’s development.
