Our 2 kids have been at BlueFit since 2022 & we have always been very impressed with the team's dedication to coaching, attention to detail & willingness to help. They have helped both our kids excel in their time there - but never beyond their capabilities. The team are very personable as well & always up for a chat to help us understand why our kids might need more work in which areas & what their team are going to do to help them achieve their goals. We also attend OLD & the BlueFit team coach the whole school during Term 3, ready for their annual swimming carnival. It's awesome to see the BlueFit kids going up against the kids who get coached from other schools & be able to hold their own in the races. Huge kudos to Sarah & her whole coaching team - we know how flexible you all have to be to handle the challenges you have to juggle & we appreciate all your effort every time. Couldn't recommend this school more!

I am choosing to share some feedback after having read some of the feedback below - Linette - As a recent former swim teacher, I now take my child to Blue Fit at Chatswood and could not be happier - Sarah and her team including all the teachers are nothing but amazing - despite up against the challenges of complaining parents who think they know better - to those who do this - you have no idea what its like being a teacher - in any capacity - but a swim teacher is hard work, and if you are going to complain about it - my child's not progressing, teacher inconsistancy - you jump in the water and teach them and see what we have to put up with - instead of sitting on the edge with your heads down on your phone, missing milestone swimming success - it's so sad that children expect their parents to not be actively watching. If you have a problem with the facilities and the showers, please be mindful, that I am aware that Blue Fit do not have control over this and the decision to not let swim school kids use the main bathroom came from Fitness First and only them. I know this information, because instead of blaming the Swim School - I ASKED!!! If you aren't happy - THEN LEAVE!!! there are plenty of other swim schools around - or teach them yourselves. To Linette - you cannot have it both ways. To the families who are consistent with coming to lessons and their children who try really hard to get a really good swimmer - you are the ones that make a really hard job worthwhile - THANK YOU!!!. Swim teachers may be students, travelers and whatever else, but remember we are teaching a fundamental life skill - so please be kind with your words AND if you want to put your two cents in to complain about your child not progressing, get qualified and teach them yourself - otherwise - STOP - Thanks again Sarah - you lead an amazing hardworking team.

I would like to compliment Dae, the Korean instructor of the Jellyfish class. He is calm and patient, and he provides a very solid foundation for children who are learning to swim for the first time. Although each lesson is only 30 minutes long, I have been able to see my daughter’s progress in every class, which has been very reassuring as a parent. Sadly, he's gone.. no more can see him.. On a separate note, I would like to mention that the changing rooms at BlueFit Chatswood are often wet, with water pooled on the floor, and sometimes rubbish is left there for several days. In addition, the hot water from the three shower taps is not consistent, which is a bit disappointing.

I am very dissatisfied with the rules and management at BlueFit Chatswood. The course fees are not cheaper, yet children are restricted from using proper changing rooms, showers, and hair-drying facilities, causing significant inconvenience for families attending swimming lessons. I have previously raised this issue via email, and what is even more disappointing is that these rules are actually set by Fitness First, and BlueFit is merely enforcing them. As a swimming school, they should negotiate reasonable solutions for children and parents, rather than forcing us to passively accept unreasonable restrictions. After class, children still have to queue in dirty changing rooms with unpleasant odors or use outdoor showers, which is neither comfortable nor hygienic. I hope the school takes parents’ concerns seriously and genuinely resolves these issues, instead of shifting the responsibility onto us.

After the new manager a few months ago, this place is managed very poorly. The only reason they get away with it and we stay is that it’s the only swim school walkable in our suburb. The teachers are wonderful, although my little one is not progressing. The managers are rude and do everything to cut costs. It’s 39 degrees today and they won’t allow us to turn on the pool fans. We are paying the same for less amenity, they won’t let us use the inside showers without reducing the fees. The outside showers and facilities are horrible. The water temperature doesn’t work well and they don’t clean the area. There’s always hair on the floor and they don’t mop the excess water. The outside change rooms are extremely dirty. We can’t wait to leave we are moving soon. Don’t send your kids here! The managers keep telling me I’m the only one that complains however I can read all of the terrible reviews. It’s become worse than ever!
