5.0Absolutely love coming for a swim at Bondi Icebergs. It’s been the same price for quite a while - $10 an entry or $8 if you buy in bulk. (25+ passes). They have swimming lanes for swimmers of all ability, from beginner to advanced.
4.0The Bondi Icebergs Pool is an absolute icon of the Sydney coastline and a must-visit when exploring Bondi Beach. Frequently featured across global social media for its stunning aesthetic, the pool is a brilliant architectural concept; situated directly at the ocean’s edge and naturally filled with saltwater. It serves as an exceptional training ground for those looking to condition themselves for open-water swimming. If you aren't looking to do laps, the clubhouse is the perfect alternative; you can enjoy a drink while taking in the crashing waves and gorgeous panoramic seaside views. Truly a world-class experience whether you are there for fitness or the atmosphere.
4.0Icebergs is a really fun spot with incredible views across Bondi Beach. The saltwater pool is a major highlight and makes the experience feel more natural than a standard chlorinated pool. That said, parts of the venue feel tired and would benefit from a thorough clean and further renovation. The sauna has improved since it was refurbished, but I still think it needs more regular cleaning and maintenance, as there was an unusual smell during my visit. Overall, the location and pool are fantastic, but I hope more attention is given to upkeep so the facilities better match such an iconic setting.
3.0Bondi Icebergs is both wonderful and disgusting. The pool itself is amazing and well maintained. The sauna and bathrooms are consistently gross. The management refuses to keep the sauna clean and the bathrooms are in a shocking state of disrepair. The pool is the cash cow of the club but they seem uninterested in putting in the resources into basic maintenance. So while I love to community of the pool and sauna I think the club itself is woefully lacking in their duty of care.
3.0A big swell saw Bondi Icebergs pool cordon off 10 meters of the larger pool today as waves crashed over the edge. While this one is an ocean pool, the only way to swim at it is through the club, for a flat $10/adult fee. The iconic Bondi Beach backdrop and painted white bottom make it look like an aquamarine gem. The reality in the smaller pool is that it could do with a good clean, and in the larger pool, some maintenance on the ladders. Accessibility is terrible here, lots of stairs whatever way you look at it. However you do get a commanding view of the surfers catching waves. Parking is limited and about $8.50/hour.
