I didn’t really know how to paint before I signed up but it looked like the most comprehensive art course around- 6 months of class and one intensive later I’m painting like I would never imagine! Oberon is very patient, dedicated and will help you develop the right skills and foundations you need to go on and paint whatever you want. You just need to dedicate yourself to your painting in class and you will see results. Best investment in myself I have ever done.

Great class and patient, talented teacher. I've been attending for almost 18months and have achieved amazing outcomes. I look forward to the class each week. Each painting has new challenges to ensure you continue developing your skills. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn to paint, even if you have never painted before.

I highly recommend Bradford Art Academy. Oberon is an amazing and patient teacher from children to old guys like me. I've been attending for the last 2 years and have gone from never touching a canvas to producing some high quality replications from photos and life. If you're even passively interested in oil painting or getting something down on a canvas, call in for a test class, you won't be dissapointed.

Highly recommend Bradford Art Academy and the teaching style of Oberon. I am grateful for these classes and they are the highlight of my week. Oberon is knowledgeable, kind and patient and genuinely cares about his students achieving great results and a deep understanding of painting.

For anyone interested in how to really paint I couldn't recommend this Academy more. Oberon is an extremely skilled painter but in addition has great patience and thoughtful teaching ability. The space itself has a beautiful quietness where you can leave other pressures and distractions of life behind. There is no sense of competitiveness yet the students work who have been studying for a longer time speaks for itself.
