Daniel is dedicated and passionate about karate . He has studied under Brian Mackie his mentor and friend since he was 8 years old and has achieved his 4th Dan black belt . Karate has given him the drive and strength of mind and body to achieve what he aspires to and conquer what life throws his way. He loves teaching everyone from the little ones through to the Dads and Mums that often follow their kids into the sport. If you are thinking of starting your children in karate they will be in the best hands at the new South Perth Goju Kai club or any of the Brian Mackie dojos .

Or daughter has been learning from Sensai’s Dan and Au for over 8 years and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They have a great teaching technique that balances discipline and fun for their students. They also actively compete in club and state competitions and are both registered referees resulting in their students learning the best techniques. Their approach has resulted improved self confidence and focus for our daughter and she wants to go to each session. Highly recommended!

Sensei Daniel and Sensei Au are great with the kids. Our 2 have been learning karate with them for 4 years now and will be competing in Japan later this year. It's been such a good experience that my husband and I (both over 48) have recently started lessons with them too. Great for the whole family!

Dan & Au are excellent Karate instructors and bring a wealth of knowledge between them. Brian Mackie's GoJu Kai Karate in general is an excellent club, with a balance between discipline, tradition and personal development. The club has a great bunch of kids and parent who all help support each other. Would highly recommend anyone, adult or child, seeking both physical and mental discipline and a desire to learn the art of Karate, to give Dan & Au's - Brian Mackie's GoJu Kai style a go!
