Camberwell Structured Playgroup

I have three children, my eldest is 8 and I have been to many playgroups and children’s activities over the years. Hands down, Camberwell Structured Playgroup is THE BEST activity I have ever done with my kids. The session strikes the perfect balance of structure and free play. My mum takes my two year old most weeks and she has really enjoyed meeting other grandparents, carers and parents. Highly recommend this playgroup - it is fantastic value for money! Playgroup day is my daughter’s favourite day of the week!

We have been attending Camberwell Structured Playgroup for a year now and absolutely love it. It's genuinely the highlight of the week for my kids. The facilitator is amazing and all the families are warm and friendly. We love that it goes from 9.30am-12pm, and has indoor play, crafts, music and outdoor play which gets out all their energy before nap time. There's always something new to do every week. Highly recommend.

Parent member since 2021 (with my first child) up to present (going on bub#3!) Comfortable, clean and safe learning environment; different play stations to suit different child interests. Facilitators that we had over the years are experienced kindergarten educators, and we enjoy the storytelling and circle time sessions. Going to the sessions helped me relax a bit as I was able to socialise with other parents and bond with my little ones through play. I have toured other playgroups in the southeast and hands down the best in terms of cleanliness, variety of toys and group vibe. Highly recommend to all families.

I have been coming to this playgroup for more than three years and have loved every minute of it. Since my little boy was 2 it has been a safe haven for me where I have made friends, shared parenting stories and watched my boy experience toys and activities we don't have at home. The endless lockdowns have been tough but the communication and efforts made by the playgroup have been outstanding. I am very sad that as my son is heading to school next year that we will no longer be able to attend. I highly recommend this playgroup and the wonderful, safe, welcoming space it provides to parents and caregivers. A+++

Such a great playgroup with a strong local community feel, going since 1984/85! Every week is a different theme and never a dull moment. So much for the little tots to do Art, Craft, Sensory, Toys, Story time and Outdoor Play including the all important sand pit. Highly recommended weekly activity for your child’s well-being and learning all the skills of toddler life and social interaction.
