Cannot recommend Carissa and her beautiful dance school highly enough. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, care, and genuine passion that goes into everything they do. The entire team is incredible with children—so patient, encouraging, and especially wonderful at helping even the shyest little ones feel comfortable and included. As a parent, it’s so reassuring to see an environment that is not only nurturing, but also highly professional. There’s a real attention to detail in every class, and it shows in how confident and happy the children are. The end-of-year concerts are truly something special - beautifully organised, thoughtfully put together, and a joy to watch. It’s amazing how Carissa brings together dancers of all ages and abilities to create such a seamless and memorable experience. If you’re looking for a ballet school where your child will feel supported, inspired, and genuinely excited to attend each week, this is it!

After more than a decade at Carisma, I can honestly say there is a great sense of community, making the studio like a second home to many students. Ms Carissa has created a beautiful, supportive space that welcomes dancers of all ages and abilities. Whether it’s recreational, exams or competitions, everyone is encouraged, supported and challenged to reach their individual goals. Would highly recommend!

Carisma Dance and Fitness provides a wonderfully fun and safe space for dancers at any level. I have loved sharing my adult ballet journey with the Carisma family. Ms Carissa is a supportive and nurturing teacher who allows all dancers to flourish!

I have attended a number of different dance studios around Adelaide now but have continued to keep coming to Carisma after starting as a beginner adult about 10 years ago. Carissa is one of the best teachers around and makes all the classes fun while still being challenging and always learning. There are so many options you can access to suit your abilities and interests, whether taking casual classes or participating in exams and concerts. Everyone in the classes are super friendly and welcoming also and make it easy as a beginner to fit in and make new friends :)

Since my daughter has joined Carisma she has really enjoyed her Ballet & Jazz classes, she has fun while learning the fundamentals of ballet/dance. The new studio is also a wonderful space. Everyone is lovely and welcoming.
