Castlerock Music Academy - Willetton

We are very happy with Castlerock Academy. Both of my kids are learning piano here and we have seen great improvement in their confidence, skills, and love for music. The teachers are very patient, professional, and supportive, making every lesson enjoyable and encouraging for children. The academy has a welcoming environment and communicates well with parents. Thank you to the admin and amazing team for helping my children grow and enjoy their piano journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality music lessons for kids!

My two sons love learning guitar and drum at Castlerock, their teachers are fun, friendly and patient. Tzudy, Paul and Rusty did amazingly during the COVID 19 crisis to set up online lessons so no one had to miss out. They are always very accommodating and willing to help whenever they can. I would highly recommend Castlerock to anyone looking to start music lessons of any kind.

The teacher I had (Teena) was really good, but the admin side of things is shocking. I got a confirmation text of my catch up lesson (that I have paid for), showed up only to find that there was no-one there. After contacting the owner, it was still not sorted, despite they already owe me for 3 lessons by my count. After the terrible service, I cancelled my membership and instead of being refunded, they want to make up the lessons which I provided my availability for- this was almost a month ago and still nothing has been done. The owner is very keen to take your money, but not deliver the service. Disappointing.

We had a really lovely vocal teacher (Alex), but sadly she left the team. Admin side, however, is disappointing. Several times a confirmation text was sent to us, only to find out nobody was at the centre when we arrived. Last minute changes to the lesson times often happens without notifying the teacher. No use calling the centre wishing to speak to someone as there won't be anyone answering the phone, and the call will be directed straight to the voicemail system. There was once the call centre was even managed by the system in the Philippines. When contacting the admin, they often demand an ASAP response from us, but we receive substandard service from them. Very disappointing. We would not recommend this place to anyone wishing to learn music. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your time dealing with the inefficient admin.
