Month of visit: September 2024 We visited here for the first time during the school break, and it was pretty busy. The place is located a bit further inside the Queensland gallery of Modern Art. A nice place to bring your kids if they are into arts. We didn’t manage to explore a lot because it was pretty packed up at that time; we only colored some stuff that was provided. It seems like a go-to place to bring your kids, and you will come back here again sometimes.

Super fun for my 4 and 2yo. Expected to pop in for 20 mins or so and by the time we had done all the activities on offer, it was 2 hours!! Absolutley brilliant

Every time we came here the kids were amazed with the activities provided. Spacious, clean, fun!

It was our first visit, and overall the art center was clean, well-organized, and offered a variety of fun activities. We especially appreciated the free entry for children during the school holidays. However, we had a disappointing experience with one staff member. Even before the incident, their tone and manner toward the children came across as impatient and unnecessarily harsh on several occasions. During an activity, my child was working on a detailed drawing and needed to make corrections. As there were no erasers available, they used multiple sheets of paper instead and were told this was not allowed. I understood the concern and explained this to my child as well. However, for detailed work, it’s natural for children to want to fix mistakes. When I later politely suggested that providing erasers could help in situations like this, the staff member responded in a defensive and unfriendly manner, which I found quite upsetting. It’s unfortunate, as the overall experience was positive, but this interaction left a very negative impression and made us reconsider returning.
