What parents say
5.0My son has been attending Code Camp after school and he loves it! He is really learning so much coding and design, and is able to use the skills he’s learnt and continue it at home. It’s a great program and so convenient as it is at his school!
5.0I sent my niece and nephew to a Spark Camp last holidays and they had a fantastic time. My nephew is really into computers and absolutely loved it. My niece was quite worried before that she wouldn’t be any good or wouldn’t make any friends, but by the end of day one she was completely obsessed with the game she’d created and had already found a lovely little group to share it with. They were so excited to show us the games they’d built when we picked them up. Their teacher, James, was incredibly knowledgeable (and very patient!). They’re both already asking if they can go back next holidays.
5.0My daughter absolutely loves Code Camp. She was enrolled last year for two terms and took the Minecraft course, which she really enjoyed. Code Camp is such a creative, educational, and fun place for kids. She always looks forward to attending.
1.0My son with them as long as they exists at Normanhurst West Public.. This program is not what it claims to be. Despite its name, "Code Camp," my son has only received coding instruction for two terms. The vast majority of his time has been wasted on unstructured "free play" and building with blocks. This is not the technology program we were promised or paid for. Furthermore, the program is poorly managed and unreliable. An entire term was wasted because the computer lab was non-functional. This, combined with other terms reverting to "FREE Builds," shows a complete lack of a structured curriculum. It's clear this organization prioritizes collecting fees over delivering on its promises. We enrolled our son based on the guarantee of coding instruction, and the program has completely failed to provide that.
1.0I enrolled my daughter in the after-school Code Camp for over a year, and it was a complete waste of time and money. Throughout the entire year, I had no idea what she was learning. I repeatedly asked for a progress report, but it was never provided. When I asked for even a basic overview of the course, they refused to give any information. When I asked my daughter what she had learned, she had no clue. This program fails to communicate with parents or provide any meaningful education. I would not recommend it.
