Collegiate Pool

Collegiate pool is one of my favourite pools to swim laps. I like having my own lane to train. The staff and management are always very helpful and friendly, I have issues with chlorine affecting my sinuses however at, Collegiate pool this never cause my sinuses to become inflamed. One of the best thing is that members get a full lane to themselves. The staff are really knowledgeable regarding stroke correction and are will to help if you ask them questions.

The school holiday private lessons are amazing value - the instructors are extremely competent and tailor the lessons to exactly what my child needs - it is amazing how much they learn with 1 on 1 instruction, with a bit of fun thrown in too. Highly recommended.

Definitely the best Learn to Swim program in Hobart/Tasmania with small class sizes, upgraded and secure pool facilities. Both of our kids have gone right through the Collegiate Pool's Learn To Swim program & are now involved in squad training through HC Swim Club (also based at Collegiate Pool). We started our kids at Learn to Swim lessons at another centre - and the difference in the quality of the program and the delivery was huge - the Collegiate program was noticeably superior. All teachers/instructors & coaches have been great right through our swimming journey, and our kids love them. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Qualified instructors are very technique focused. Private holiday lessons are a fantastic way to boost confidence and progression - they fill up very quickly, so keep your eye out and follow the Facebook page so you don't miss them. I’d definitely recommend the Collegiate Learn to Swim program to everyone and get added to the wait list if you need to.

The membership style is fantastic and well worth the fees to have a lane to myself every time I swim. The facilities are always very clean and the water so clear. Pool staff are always polite, friendly and provide great service.

Great facility and teachers but horiable managerial staff. They tried to charge me two days before their own schedule and then blamed me that I didn't have enough money on the card! However, there was more than enough money there (+- several days) which was proved by the detailed bank report I provided to the pool manager. Instead, in a rude manner I was told to pay fine if I want my child to keep having lessons in that pool. In addition, they said that "they have many students currently and hundreds in the queue to enroll and nobody complains about anything". Very happy that my kid is going now to another pool where the staff respects their clients!
