Comdance

I have taught the Comdance Sullabus for over 40 years. No other syllabus offered me so many genres under the one banner. My clientele experienced classes from ballet to Acrobatics, from hip hop to tap. The Comdance society were always offering workshops for students and teachers alike to keep up to date on the newest trends. I am forever grateful that I was permitted to include their extensive syllabi considering I came from another Society. Marguerite Wallace

I have been teaching the Comdance syllabus for over 30 years and love the progressions through the grades in classical, modern jazz and tap - right through to teaching qualifications. We have then added the Jason Winters Contemporary syllabus and have found this to be a wonderful asset to the school - adding strength and grounded contemporary technique. We teach some singing and drama and have found the students love the Theatrical Performing Arts syllabus - so well designed to give teachers the freedom to enter students into examinations encompassing singing, acting and dance. Comdance examinations are an exceptional asset to any dance school. Giving the students a goal to work toward always aids in their dance development and the examiners always work to make it such a pleasurable experience for the students. I highly recommend Comdance!

We have been with Comdance for the past five years and found the syllabus very easy to access and deliver. The kids love it, and it has enabled them to progress confidently through the levels with clear goals, while building strong technique, artistry, and performance confidence through consistent, achievable milestones.

This gives them great confidence and a great sense of achievement. Great progression through the grades and cover lots of different genre. These exams can lead to teaching certificate and diploma qualifications.

I started my journey with Comdance as a 3-year-old. While growing up in a lovely family-oriented dance environment, my teacher encouraged me to be the best dancer I could be. She encouraged me to sit my diplomas and join the Society, eventually obtaining my Examiner's. I believe wholeheartedly that dance is for everyone, and Comdance has proved that time and again. Comdance aims for its syllabi to be technical and current. If you follow the progression within each syllabus, you can guarantee an extraordinary dancer at the end of their journey. It is nice to know that we are part of a bigger family (both nationally and internationally) and can be heard at the highest level. It is all inclusive.
