The instructors here are fantastic, patient, encouraging, and clearly experts at building water confidence in children. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a safe and professional environment for learning. It’s been wonderful to see such steady progress in swimming skills and safety every single week!

At first glance, this swimming pool might seem a bit underwhelming since it’s not shiny or luxurious. But the real value is in the coaches and the service—they’re completely focused on teaching kids how to swim. Our kids have been learning so quickly here. My son spent two years at a more expensive pool where they mostly taught safety basics rather than actual swimming. The teachers here truly make a difference, and we’re really glad we found this place.

Few months ago, I ennrolled my daughter at Coulter Northmead Swimming Centre, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers of all ages. A special mention goes to Jess, one of the instructors at the centre for sunday class. Her gentle and caring approach has made a significant difference for my daughter Ira, who has a fear of water. Jess's patience and understanding have helped my daughter feel more comfortable and confident in the pool. It's clear that Jess genuinely cares about her students' progress and well-being, and her positive attitude creates a welcoming atmosphere.

This is a shout-out for Melica who has been teaching my very reluctant 3 year old for a few weeks now. It has been so impressive watching her patiently but firmly build my son's trust and work towards confidence in the water. My boy is now loving the lessons and I can see progress every week.

We have been to many swim schools over the years. Coulter has a great app which allows you to set up future absences and book make up classes easily. The facilities are nothing spectacular but absolutely fine. What is important are the teachers. Some have been rude and we just dont book with them. We stick to the ones who are kind and good at teaching by paying attention and helping guide the right techniques. I also like that assessments are done regularly as some schools seem to take forever to do them which results in slow progression. I really think my daughter has continued with swimming here because she has been able to progress and the business is run well.
