We are so grateful to have found DDQ. It’s not just a place to learn dance it truly feels like a community. The teachers are incredibly supportive and nurturing, and the older dancers are such wonderful role models for the younger ones. My daughter’s confidence has grown so much since joining and she absolutely loves being here. We couldn’t speak more highly of this beautiful studio.

Our family has been part of Dance Direction Queensland (DDQ) for over 13 years, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most rewarding journeys for our daughter — and for us as parents. From her very first DDQuties class to her confident performances on stage today, the care, professionalism, and passion of the DDQ team have been second to none. The teachers don’t just teach dance — they nurture resilience, teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. The studio truly feels like a second home, filled with encouragement, laughter, and lifelong friendships. Watching the dancers grow each year — both technically and personally — is a testament to the high standards and genuine heart that DDQ brings to every class, rehearsal, and performance. We are so grateful to be part of such an inspiring and supportive dance community. Such a wonderful dance school!! My daughter has been at DDQ for 7 years and absolutely loves it. Her confidence has grown so much both as a dancer and as a young woman. She really feels part of a team and wonderful to see how the seniors mentor the junior dances also. Teachers are amazing and have always been amazed by the performances and dancers. We weren’t sure which school to transition back into for dance but heard about DDQ from a friend who attended their annual dance concert. My daughter trialled a class and instantly fell in love with how supportive the teachers were and how friendly and welcoming the girls were. DDQ has been nothing short of excellent - great comms, supportive environment, lots of programs on offer and an incredible dance concert to look forward to every year. So very happy we joined!

When I first join DDQ I always have enjoyed it my past dance school never accepted me for who I am and the community at DDQ are amazing I am def staying here until the end of my years and will continue with the 18+ Classes!!
