Dance of Life Centre of Yoga and Healing

It took me a while to find this studio, because I didn't want a gym but an authentic place for yoga. I found a temple with high ceiling and experienced teachers who focus on asana and breathing, and on improving each individual. Classes are open to everyone. Johannes follows you personally for optimal alignments. I also met great people!

It’s hard to put into words how much Dance of Life Yoga means to me — if I could give it 10 stars, I would. The teachers are incredibly inclusive, knowledgeable, and deeply experienced. They offer thoughtful guidance, personalised adjustments, and genuine care. The studio is a beautiful space to practise: spacious, high ceilings, and with plenty of room to feel comfortable. What I love most is the non-commercial, authentic atmosphere that truly reflects yogic philosophy. After five years of practising here, I’ve noticed real improvements in my mood, posture, and flexibility.

The best to practice yoga & learn from amazing teachers. Teachers who are there for students and not for profit. The only place in Melbourne I could find so far that is not providing nowadays commercial yoga style. Also the place where classes are held is very nice! Definitely recommend!
