This popular aquatic centre in Hobart tends to be crowded on weekends and school holidays when many kids visit. The casual price for adult swim and spa access is $18.30, which is somewhat high, but membership makes it more affordable for regular visitors. The facility features a 50m pool, sometimes divided into two 25m sections for lap swimming, and a kiddy pool with slides. There are two shallow spas, both about 70cm deep. Staff members are friendly, and there's a small café on-site.

Nice swimming pool, very hot and lots of unsupervised kids running around. Showers are ok, but not much privacy. In the morning, at seven AM, good time to take kids if you can, I went and the kids pool was empty. The other pools have squad swimmers and lap walkers but still really fun!

A well resourced public swimming/gym venue close to the CBD. Facilities for babies upto the elderly. Multiple lanes in the 50mtr pool, a 25 MTR pool for the juniors and a designated diving pool. The Venue also hosts a large baby and toddler play area with water slides, fountains etc with a beach front -paddling area to enter and exit. The gym is upstairs, multiple sporting groups use the facilities and major events are also staged here. It's clean, good change rooms with showers, baby change areas and toilets. A shop and a café are also on site.

So one time i was here and i went into the change rooms and there was NAKED PEOPLE????!?!??! this is DISGRACEFUL and i want this fixed immedialey. Also there werent security cameras in t he changerooms and i felt unsafe. Also there was an old man staring me down the in the change rooms. After that awful experience i went to the slide. There was a sign thAT said "Slide closed" and i was like well i hope so hahahaha, it would be weird if it was open. But the sign was in the way so i just moved it out the way and started sliding. There was no water on the slide what a rip off, i went so slow and i got burns all over my body, probably didnt help that I forgot to put my clothes back on. Oh well. Once I finally go to the end of the slide. I fell in the water. OUCH. Then I remembered I couldnt swim. NOOO "NNOO ONOONO HELP ME HELP ME>" I start sinking. "NOOO NOO NOOO NOO THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS FOR ME!!!" ALl the other kids standing next to me were giving me filthy looks. . "HELELP HELLP IM SWALLOWING WATER NOW BUBBLE BUBLLE SCHCHSMHJS JHELP ELP" and THEN this guy with a ywllow shirt jumped in the pool and started fiddling with me, i was like STOP TOUCHING ME, GET OFF, STRANGER DANGER. Then i remembered what they taught me in school. So i just stood up and left. What a weirdo.

Do not recommend for shower use (travellers) As travellers we have been using aquatic centres for showers across Aus, this is typically $2 per person but here we were charged $5.80 p/p. Without much other option we paid. My partner didn’t feel comfortable showering with no privacy in a very busy public bathroom so he walked straight out. The female showers were incredibly small and setup for a rinse off not a shower. There is nowhere to put anything down other then a single hook which due to the size of the shower will also be wet. The floor also floods with water. You’d probably think “how bad can it be” but I would recommend you don’t waste your money here. It is advertised online to be $2 for a non-swim entry also so will be in contact regarding a refund.
