We have been attending Dream for a few terms, firstly with my 3 and 4 year daughter and son on Saturday morning and now just with my 3 year old on Tuesday. Gemma and the team make it a new experience every week. I actually don’t know how they come up with all the themes and variations each week 👏 and I hope they know it is noticed and appreciated! We always look forward to going!
Leia and Kelly are very patient and good with toddlers. Never a dull lesson weekly. Weekly theme for the classes are engaging and fun for toddlers. Appreciate their efforts to set up every week!
We visited Dreams Gymnastics Club while visiting Perth and we couldn't have hoped for a better experience. Our daughters are competitive gymnasts looking to keep up their training. Right from the start Amy and the team were so welcoming and friendly. There's genuinely such a great club atmosphere. The coaches are attentive, engaging and caring and throughout the classes they provided specific feedback to each gymnast. So our oldest daughter, who currently has a hand injury, was still able to get as much out of her session as possible. Dreams' squad girls were working hard while clearly having a lot of fun training together. The gym is well equipped in a new space with lots of natural light and air-conditioning, making it also the perfect spot for school holiday programs. Our girls can't wait to return to Perth and we can't recommend Dreams highly enough!
Very disappointed by our experience there. There was easily 100 kids all at once in different classes. My daughters first time there and was overwhelmed by the chaos and was crying for me and so i went into to encourage her i was confronted by a lady telling me i wasnt allowed past the gate. So after 2 Lessons we never came back and they had the audacity to charge me for a full years worth of insurance after not attending for 3 weeks after.
I would NOT recommend this centre. Our child enjoys gymnastics but did not enjoy attending this centre due to chaotic classes, being consistently ignored, and unfriendly, not child-focused staff. We did not raise a formal complaint at the time. We were advised at withdrawal that our credit could be transferred and not expired we acted on that advice. Two years later, we were told the policy had changed and transfers were no longer allowed. Expecting the credit to be held in case we returned is unrealistic. Management was rigid and lacked transparency. The centre was not child-friendly, and decisions appeared to be driven by money rather than customer experience. Families should be cautious. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to the business owner’s response: 1. “You were advised at the time 2 years ago no refund.” We have always understood that refunds were not available. What we were advised at the time of withdrawal was that the credit would not expire and could be transferred. Our actions over the past two years were based on that advice. This matter has been ongoing for over two years, with documented email communication in February, March, April and August 2024; September and October 2025; and January 2026. 2. “You didn’t give a reason as to why your daughter didn’t want to attend.” This is incorrect. Our daughter enjoys gymnastics but found the class environment distressing. Staff on site witnessed her becoming upset during classes on multiple occasions, which ultimately led to our decision to withdraw. It should not be necessary to produce videos of a distressed child in order to validate a parent’s concerns. While it is understandable that a one-star review may be frustrating for the business owner. 3. “As goodwill we gave you a credit and haven’t heard from you for 2 years.” Again this matter has been ongoing for over two years, with documented email communication in February, March, April and August 2024; September and October 2025; and January 2026. 4. “It is policy you can’t transfer your family credit to another family.” At the time of withdrawal, we were advised that transfer was permitted. The policy change occurred after our withdrawal and was only communicated once we had finally found another family willing to accept the credit. 5. “You can still use it with no expiry.” Expecting the credit to be held indefinitely on the assumption that we might return is unrealistic, given the circumstances and how this matter has been handled. 6. “Our classes had very low numbers and now ensure attention.” This does not reflect our experience. The classes we attended on Monday afternoons were not low-numbered and were chaotic, which directly contributed to our child’s distress and our decision to withdraw. I am unclear why our firsthand experience is being questioned. If the business maintains that the class had “very low numbers,” it would be appropriate to refer to the actual enrolment figures for that class at the time. Our comments are based on what we personally observed, and it is not appropriate to imply that a parent is being untruthful when simply describing their lived experience. Again, I did not imply that any individual manager who communicated with me was rude. My concern relates solely to how this situation has been handled overall, which has been disappointing. It is the approach, decision-making, and lack of flexibility that I am referring to, not the behaviour or character of any specific staff member.
