My 15‑year‑old daughter has been attending for just over a month now, and the experience has been wonderful from the very beginning. From submitting our online enquiry and being guided through the process by Tyler, to the warm, open, and genuinely inclusive welcome from Sensei Matt and Vil, we felt supported every step of the way. Being provided with a gi and a personalised letter at her very first trial session made her — and us — feel truly welcomed into the karate community. It has been incredibly special to see our daughter, who has never enjoyed sport, feel eager to learn and participate in such a calm, non‑competitive environment. The Culture and Care at Emplify Karate is Amazing! Our son has been attending the Swanbourne and Cottesloe Dojo’s regularly since he was five years old and training at Emplify over the last four years has truly transformed him. He has formed wonderful friendships and his self confidence, independence and spirit has flourished due to the incredibly positive energy, support and diligent guidance of Sensei Vildan and all of the brilliant and passionate Senseis and Senpais. The super fun vibes, dedication, thoughtfulness and expansive range of skills and knowledge Sensei Vildan brings to each and every class is exceptional and the attention, focus and support he gives each student is remarkable. It has been a powerfully positive journey for our son and family to be part of the Emplify community and to witness how extraordinary a Karate Club and the culture around it can be!

We heard about Emplify through word of mouth and started on the trial. This is a bargain deal and great way to try this course. The team are super friendly, warm and welcoming and the class is engaging with the right balance of fun and discipline to keep the kids wanting to come back for more. I love that the older students come to teach the younger ones and display such confidence and enthusiasm. Two lessons in and we've committed to membership.

All three of my children have been attending karate here for nearly four years, and it’s been an incredibly positive experience for our family. The Senseis and Senpais are outstanding role models—patient, compassionate, and deeply committed to helping each student grow. Over the years, my children have steadily progressed through the belt system, gaining valuable martial arts skills along the way. More importantly, they’ve developed essential life skills such as resilience, discipline, and leadership.
