Equinox is a fabulous martial arts gym on Sydney's North shore. It caters for all ages. Many families have toddlers, kids or teens training there, as well as the parents! James, Kobi and the team have established and nurture a really great vibe for the EQA community. The venue is very comfortable and clean and very easy to park and access at all of the class times. I highly recommend Equinox irrespective of your age, experience or ability. I do the women's Muay Thai class with Coach Kae & regular Muay Thai class with Coach James & Coach Tom on Saturday mornings. I find both classes a lot less intimidating than I have felt at other gyms.

The Muay Thai classes are highly engaging, challenging and fun. The coaches are very effective instructors and proficient martial artists. I started attending classes last year and my daughters now attend the kids classes which they enjoy immensely. The parking is easy at the back of the club, the facilities are always clean and the kids play room is a great asset. My youngest daughter loves playing while she waits for her big sister to finish her class. Kobi and James run a wonderful business with a very friendly community. I look forward to every lesson and I frequently check my work roster to figure out which classes I’ll be able to attend.

Equinox is an incredibly welcoming gym - Kobi and James have created a family like atmosphere which is not common in martial arts gyms! The women’s and mixed bjj classes have been high calibre with great rolling partners. The kids classes have been amazing too for the kids!

Such an amazing martial arts studio! Every time we walk in, we’re greeted with warmth that makes it feel just like home, both my son and I absolutely love being here and always look forward to each class. Kobi is fantastic, and especially for how nice and thoughtful she is. She is so good at engaging kids, knows exactly how to boost their enthusiasm and keep them motivated throughout the session. Truly a wonderful place for kids to learn and grow! Highly recommend it to all parents looking for a supportive, fun martial arts experience for their little ones.

My wife and her sister visited Equinox Martial Arts Academy for a Jiu Jitsu class on Saturday. To say the class exceeded expectations is an understatement! My wife said that Professor Adam Kayoom went above and beyond to make sure that they felt comfortable, safe and treated like they were a part of the team! Her sister said she absolutely loved the class, felt so welcomed and safe and is now hooked on Jiu Jitsu! I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to the Equinox Team for doing such a great job of welcoming, encouraging and empowering new students to begin their Martial Arts journeys! Highly recommended!!!
