Great service. I dropped by in person a week ago, but the book wasn't present in the shop. The lady at the counter helped me order and arrange posting. She was spot on with the posting time frame. Ordered last Friday, received this Friday. It was great.

We bought a brand-new Yamaha student flute from Fine Music in November for our son. It wasn’t officially used until recently, and on its first proper use, a mechanical issue was found. We informed Fine Music that the flute was under warranty when we brought it back. However, the repair was still processed as a chargeable job and we were charged a labour fee, with the invoice noting work such as straightening a bent key. Given the instrument was new, unused, and faulty on first use, this was disappointing. A new instrument should not have mechanical issues, and under Australian Consumer Law, such faults should be repaired without charge. The repair itself was done competently, but the warranty handling was disappointing.
