Everyone is warm welcoming at Fortaleza, I felt at home instantly on day one. I look forward to my classes with Bebe and Jess every week. As a beginner, I learn better with gentle attentive thoughtful feedback, very encouraging. Loving the style as well, so beautiful to watch, I look forward to learning more. Passion, Energy and Freedom! Having studied many different dance styles over the years, Bebe’s classes are the ones that I keep returning to, as do many other students of this world-renowned Brazilian dance legend. I first danced with Bebe in Amsterdam over 10 years ago, followed by Barcelona and London. Today, we are so incredibly fortunate to be able to learn from him again in Brisbane, Australia. Bebe’s outstanding technical prowess is brilliantly balanced by the uplifting energy and sense of freedom he inspires in every student; in every dance; in every class. If you love moving to Brazilian beats, tropical vibes and the feeling of flying through the air, and if you would like to connect with like-minded free spirits, you will be at home in Bebe’s classes!

My Lambada lessons at Fortaleza are the highlight of my week! After returning to dance after a 10 year hiatus, I was worried how I would cope with advanced arthritis in my knees, but Bebé is such an excellent caring teacher, I always feel completely safe in his classes, and my overall health and dance technique has improved greatly as a result. He gives detailed and individual attention to every single student. Don’t let age limit your enjoyment of life! I feel privileged to learn from such a world class teacher. Bebé, Jessica and Rachel are the loveliest, most welcoming people and their classes are an absolute joy. I can honestly say learning Lambazouk is one of the most exhilarating things I have ever done!

Bebe classes are always full of positive energia, enthusiasm and positive instruction. If you want to learn from one of the original masters of Lambada go no further we are privileged to have such a talented dancer and instructor here in Brisbane. Lamba zouk is such a dynamic and exciting dance to learn and the parties are one of a kind must do experience even for seasoned dancers. Ive known Bebe for over 5 years and have found him always down to earth, humble and passionate to pass on his love for lambada his class are amazing value.

Fortaleza Dance and Arts is by far the most wonderful and lovely LambaZouk school that I’ve ever attended!! The instructors Bebe, Rachel and Jessica are such wonderful people and I appreciate their time and effort to teach every Lambazouk and Zouk lovers!! Highly recommend this school for people who wants to learn Zouk Lambada or Zouk at an absolute beginner level! ❤️❤️❤️
