Forte Music

Everyone at Forte School of Music is so welcoming. We go to the Coorparoo centre and Mr Dave, Mr Sam and Miss Chinsia are so good for both of my kids piano and drumming lessons. They challenge the kids with age appropriate lessons to give them the skills and confidence they need to keep going. Both of the kids come home with home so happy with that they’ve just learnt and can’t wait to go back next week. I honestly can not believe how far they have progressed in such a short time. They even got to participate in a stage show in their first year! Can’t recommend Forte more highly!

We’ve absolutely loved our experience with Forte Music! The lessons are so fun, engaging, and interactive, our daughter genuinely looks forward to them every week. Mr David is a wonderful teacher who creates such a positive and encouraging environment. He really knows how to challenge the children in a way that builds their confidence and keeps them motivated. It’s become a true highlight of our daughter’s week. We especially appreciate that the program introduces reading music early on, not just rhythm-based learning. It’s been so rewarding to see her enjoying the process of learning to play piano. We feel she is progressing steadily and joyfully, and we’re so grateful to have found such a supportive and high-quality music school.

A wonderful music program that is fun, interactive, and well-structured to build children’s interest and confidence in music. Kids get hands-on experience with many different instruments, including piano, keyboard, chimes, ukulele, bells, and percussion. The colourful parachute activities are also a big favourite! Mr David is an exceptional teacher, professional, patient, and encouraging. He always creates a fun and positive learning environment where every child feels supported and motivated. He understands children’s learning needs and pace, gently encouraging and challenging them in the right way, while helping them grow in confidence and musical ability. My child has developed a genuine love for music, greater confidence, and strong motivation to learn. Always look forward to class, and enjoy practising at home. Highly recommended! I’ve already recommended this program to friends and will continue to do so!

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his music lessons with Mr David, and we are delighted to see how much he has improved since joining the program. Mr David has a wonderful way of inspiring and encouraging children, making lessons both engaging and enjoyable. The Forte Music Festival organised by the school is such a valuable initiative. It not only allows children to showcase their progress but also helps them build confidence in performing before an audience. For many of them, it is their first step towards appreciating the beauty and joy of music performance. We are very grateful to the school for providing these opportunities, which nurture both skill and passion in young learners.

We have been attending music classes at Forte for the past 2 years and my kids have so much fun each lesson. They come home singing the songs and practising the concepts they have learnt in class. The group music classes are a great way for the kids to make friends and learn together. My kids have gained so much confidence with finding their voices in class. We highly recommend Forte!
