GCJ is an amazing BJJ academy with a truly family friendly environment. Whatever your reason for training, you’ll fit right in at GCJ. Ricky’s hands on, one-on-one approach makes all the difference he’s always happy to help you reach your goals, whether that’s competing at the highest level or just learning this incredible martial art. The whole team, along with Ricky and Nikki, are at the top of Perth’s BJJ scene. It’s such a welcoming place that even my 3 year old daughter asks to come along when I train! I couldn’t recommend GCJ more highly.

From the very first day I walked in, I felt completely welcomed. The coaches go above and beyond, and the support from everyone here is amazing. There’s such a genuine openness to share experiences and techniques, which makes training not only fun but really rewarding. Whether you’re brand new to BJJ or more advanced, this gym feels like the right place to be!

GCJ Academy is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, Nikki and Ricky make you feel right at home, they’re so warm and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Coach Ricky’s instruction is super easy to follow, encouraging, and he makes every class fun and engaging no matter your skill level. The gym itself is always spotless and well-maintained, which really shows the pride they take in the space. It's a great little spot with an amazing community, highly recommend checking it out! 😊

Absolutely fantastic place for kids, I took my preschooler there. First time I've seen a martial arts place that genuinely teaches the kids helpful moves, the instructors are very passionate and great with kids. Highly recommend!
