GKR Karate

We’re really happy with GKR Karate. The instructors are great with the kids and make every class fun while still teaching discipline and respect. Our kids genuinely look forward to going each week, which says it all. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

My 5 year old son has been training at the Templestowe dojo for about a year. The training definitely helps him become more disciplined. He is also more agile than before. Senseis teach the children boundaries but also make them laugh. We are happy with the service.

It used to be good but not anymore since they have changed the class schedule early this year. They group the students from 5 yrs old - adult together. How could the teaching be the same? How could it benefit to the students? No limit on the class size. It may have more than 20+ students show up at the same class, depends your luck. I cannot see any improvement on my 5 yr old kid. The instructor cannot even look after the whole class. Just a waste of money. That’s why I’ve cancelled the membership earlier this yr.
