After trialling a few schools in the area, this is by far the best. You can tell the instructors have worked there for years as some have taught siblings years apart. I love the fact they don’t use floaties or other aids that hinder learning. Instead this sound program focuses on body positioning enabling a safer swimmer. With great body positioning any child could easily transition to squad if they wished without trouble. Well done staff great job!

Just went in their to inquire about swimming lessons for my child. Christie- The staff member at the reception was extremely helpful and provided all the information with clarity. Looking forward to join this swimming school community and hope it will be as great as the first impression we got.

They staff here, on the whole, are very good. They teach fastidiously, with an emphasis on nailing techniques before moving children up levels. However, recent staff shortages mean some classes don't start on time; staff seem to be absent regularly and replacements are obviously hard to come by. As a result, it's not a place where staff know your child's name; you feel like a cog in their wheel. It's a frustrating experience but perhaps inevitable in this climate. If you are relaxed about these things, you and your child will do well. If you are looking for a consistent or personal experience, you might not get it. We have chosen to stick with it for the time being.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star to this centre. 1. No shower rooms- there are kids of various age groups upto teenagers. Being a swim center and ofcourse naming themselves as aquatic center, it’s not a big ask to have shower rooms. I have seen grown up girls feeling so embarrassed to use the open showers which are literally located at the entrance itself. Felt very sad for them. The management is pretty inconsiderate of this. 2. Every week it’s a different instructor. Zero consistency. And the replacement instructors unfortunately have not been upto the mark. There is NO structure to the swim class. 3. No assessments ! Is it difficult to have a simple policy in place to do the initial assessment on the day of enrollment so that it stays as a benchmark about the progress the children make from their lessons. 4. The online portal does not display instructors names. Why can’t we as a client see in the portal who is the instructor for the week. They take the whole fees for the term in advance probably because the management themselves know that the drop out rates would be significantly high given the type of training provided at this center Huntingtower school has an excellent reputation no doubt but this swim center seems like using the Huntingtower name to attract clients and provide substandard teaching. Would not recommend this swim center to anyone. Very disappointed with the whole training standards here. My kid has been swimming for a long time now. Since joining this swim center, unfortunately he has not learnt anything and deskilling.
