Ignite Dance WA

My daughter has absolutely loved her ballet classes with Ignite Dance and all of the wonderful teachers and assistants. The teachers are highly experienced and have been incredibly supportive, nurturing her love of ballet from a young age while helping her skills grow as she’s gotten older. The ladies are warm, welcoming, and truly professional, with a level of care that has made us feel completely at ease. We couldn’t be happier with the environment they’ve created. My daughter recently had the pleasure of performing in her first concert, and it was such a beautifully put-together production—for both the dancers and the audience. It was clear how much thought, care, and effort went into every detail. I highly recommend Ignite Dance for anyone with young children, as well as for more experienced dancers who want to begin or further develop their ballet training.

I am a ballet dancer at Ignite who has returned to ballet for a second time as an adult. I dance in the Silver Swans class and will soon be attending two classes a week. We are a passionate group of dancers aged 55+, some of whom have danced ballet before, while others are stepping into the studio for the very first time. The atmosphere is warm, supportive, and genuinely welcoming. Our teacher, Camila, shares the same passion for ballet and for us as dancers - she truly gets us. Her understanding, encouragement, and love of movement make every class a joy. At every class we also see Maya, who is another teacher at Ignite and is always there to help us with any administrative queries, making everything feel easy and well supported. I wholeheartedly encourage you to join us for something that is not only wonderful for the body, but deeply nourishing for the soul.

Adult ballet class is the highlight of my week. Ignite has a kind, supportive environment both from staff and classmates.

My 5 year old daughter joined in the last term and she was welcomed so warmly. It was a busy term with the students learning their concert dance, and even though she had no prior experience, she was taught all the moves for a dance everyone had been taught and was encouraged the whole way through. she was made to feel like she belonged from the start and was able to perform the concert number after only 6 weeks of classes. She has loved every minute and ballet has become her favourite day of the week. The teachers are so kind and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
