I was looking for a place to reignite my love of drama from high school. I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do something just for me. I was nervous and excited. Right from the start I felt so welcome and so comfortable. Kate and Siobhan are so warm and supportive and have created a beautiful safe space where you can truly be yourself and have oh so much fun! I’ve been going for years to the adult classes now and couldn’t imagine not spending my Monday nights there! It’s a real family affair with my 2 children also doing their fantastic kids classes. Again Kate and Siobhan create classes that let kids really explore their creativity and have so much fun doing it. The confidence it gives them is amazing. If you’re looking for drama classes for adults or kids Inner West Drama is the place to go!

Have you ever said to yourself 'I could never do that!'. That's what I said, when I 1st saw an ad for Inner West Drama and their adult acting classes. I mistakenly clicked the enquire button and then promptly received an email from Siobhan saying 'can't wait to meet on Monday'. Turned out to be one of my best mistakes, I attended the 1st class and never looked back. 3 and a half years later and my weeks not the same if I don't get my Monday at IWD. It's a wonderful community, with wonderful people, all orchestrated by the wonderful Kate and Siobhan (and several others). It's a creative space to scratch the creative itch, in a welcoming supporting environment. Some of the students have been already going for years before I got there, but I never felt like a newbie or outsider, I instantly felt like part of it all. I highly recommend Inner West Drama to everyone, whether you are after some creative outlet or just some social interaction, Inner West Drama and Flight Path has a place for you.

Inner West Drama provides more than just acting classes for adults. It provides a warm community and a safe space to play and be your most authentic self. IWD taught me how to be confident, how to take a chance and how to have fun without fear. I have been coming back term after term for 3 years now and have no plans on leaving.
