Great music school - I just completed my first year of individual lessons - piano (and I am in my 50's) - and have enjoyed it thoroughly.

Mid life crisis . Decided to learn piano . Son is learning too. Having a blast in class . MR Lyndon and Ms Amanda are both excellent teachers..

Jessica graduated from Junior Piano 2 this week at International Academy of Music Hobart. Here she is with her certificate and her class and teacher, Miss Amanda. Thanks to IAM Hobart for still running classes via zoom during the COVID 19 lockdown and allowing Jessica to achieve this and maintain her development in music. Stephanie also takes guitar lessons with Greg at International Academy of Music Hobart and received a glowing report last week for her development over the last year. She has a lovely pink guitar and is on the IAM Hobart website homepage so check it out! Proud of both girls learning music and grateful to International Academy of Music Hobart for running a fantastic academy and providing the opportunity to learn music in a fun and friendly environment

I've really enjoyed my vocal lessons at IAM. The teachers are fantastic - friendly (which is so important with vocal lessons, because singing in front of people can be intimidating!), knowledgeable, and willing to work around my schedule as a mum with two young kids. I've learnt so much, had a lot of fun doing it, and always felt supported and encouraged. Highly recommend to anyone searching for a vocal instructor in Hobart!

Lyndon Ellis is an outstanding music teacher, and IAM is an excellent music school. I’m learning piano. I started with Microwave group classes and I’ve moved to individual classes. Lyndon, very talented and skilled in teaching a range of instruments and voice, uses a variety of techniques to teach, motivate and encourage, and have fun. What I really appreciate is Lyndon’s way of teaching the same lesson from different perspectives; his creativity. If you don’t get it one way, he’ll teach you another way. And he’s cheerful and patient. Lyndon is the best. To completely value add, I got a report yesterday, highlighting the structure and progress of our lessons. Very helpful, and I was delighted!
