My daughters began taking lessons with Iris two years ago, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Iris is a remarkably talented and passionate teacher, qualities that shine through in her singing classes. She consistently demonstrates great respect for her students and skillfully nurtures each individual's unique singing style, paving the way for exceptional results. I have witnessed significant improvement and development in both of my daughters' voices during their time with her. Highly recommend!

Iris Ferwerda is the best singing teacher for my 8-year old daughter M. Sometimes M is defeated in her learning and Iris always manages to turn it around and positively re-ignites M’s love for singing. She is strict when it comes to technical work and keeping a good posture. She doesn’t miss any tiny and important details in M’s singing (even via Zoom). With an amazing voice, she inspires M to always do her best and reach for the star. M idolises her beautiful teacher.

Iris has been amazing in guiding grace through U3/4 VCE music performance. Iris was extremely organised and often came with prepared notes and pieces to lessons for Grace. Grace has improved significantly in the last year with Iris particularly helping her with her technique; specifically use of vibrato, mixed voice, and transitioning from chest to head voice. Iris is great teacher, as she gives plenty of constructive feedback and Grace has certainly grown in confidence. Grace has become a lot more comfortable performing and acting under Iris’ tutelage which she says was incredibly useful in the exam.

Iris is a wonderful teacher and has enhanced my daughter’s passion for music. Her skilful teaching and guidance has given my daughter heaps of confidence in her voice. She looks forward to her lessons every week. Thank you Iris!
