Kevin Sensei is very patient and caring towards his students. He leads by example with the core JKA values and makes sure his instruction is up to standard through Australian and Japanese instructors. This is passed down from him to his students with clear instruction and adapted to suit the individuals needs. Whenever I am down in Melbourne I make sure to visit Kevin Senseis dojo for training and always a great catch up after.

Sensei Kev is excellent! He is very responsible and always makes sure the kids learn proper karate, not just play around. He corrects their movements patiently, and we are very happy with the class. Even though it’s our first karate course, we’re really satisfied and will continue.

This JKA is a fantastic place to learn and grow. Kevin sensei is not only skilled but also patient and encouraging, making all students feel supported. Since joining, my son has developed greater confidence, discipline, and karate skills, and always looks forward to training. Highly recommend to everyone!

We’ve trialed a few centres and have been fortunate to cross path with Kevin. Kevin is not only passionate about karate, he lives and breathes the principles of the martial art - discipline and respect. He remembers each child by name, attentive to each individuals strengths and weaknesses, committed to everyone’s learning. Its the place to be if you’re genuine about picking up a skill. Our child enjoys it and said to me she’s learnt a lot more in a lesson than the last 2 months with another centre. She is seen and respected here.

The karate sensei is highly professional and exceptionally patient with children. My son truly enjoys every class and looks forward to each session.
