Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do

I've been training here for about 4 years and would definitely recommend it. When i started i had no martial arts experience at all and it was the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the dojo that kept me coming back. Now as a more experienced student i appreciate the professional attitudes and quality of the instructors, the structured syllabus and teaching methods and most of all the traditional Japanese art of Karate.

My three sons started whilst in kindergarten and are now going to year 8 and 9. Variety of instructors have been able to cater for quite differing expectations and abilities of kids aged 4-5 until 14-15. Well done. In the meantime I have started myself and can speak for the fact they also cater well for the 50+ crowd.

Kancho Ino and the Black Belts of Jin Sei Ryu are among the finest practitioners of Budo Karate currently in Australia. Having been personally acquainted with Kancho Ino for over 40 years, I have witnessed over many years his growth and training as an outstanding student and teacher of Karate under Grandmaster Tadashi Nakamura. His development of JinSeiRyu Karate is an evolution of the Kyokushin lineage and certainly unparalleled in his region. Additionally, his expertise in Kobudo (ancient weaponry) has even surpassed previous teachers of his. One of the main differences in the training here at his traditional dojo is the many years of dedicated training and service he underwent to become to a masterful teacher. Many teachers that claim high rank are virtually unknown by legitimate martial artists, self promoted or unverified. That is certainly not the case here at the Jin Sei Ryu Hombu. In my opinion, Kancho Ino Maquirang is among the finest Traditional Martial Arts teachers in Australia with a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with interested students of all ages.
