John Sugden Swim School provides a supportive and caring environment where children feel encouraged and confident in the water. The small class sizes allow for personalised attention, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace. Both of my kids have been attending for the last couple of years, and it has truly been the best decision. The instructors are patient, skilled, and genuinely invested in the children's learning and safety. Highly recommend! 🌟🏊‍♂️

My daughter has been learning with JSSS for a year and a half but she has made more progress than in all years combined with other swim schools! I can't say enough good things about JSSS. Their methodology is really effective - no use of floatation aids from the very start, teaching elements of all four styles simultaneously, as well as the unique skills progression that breaks down swimming techniques into fun actions that kids enjoy doing. John and his team of teachers are committed and bring fun and energy into the pool. My daughter's positive experience has inspired me and my husband to start taking adult classes to improve our swimming skills with JSSS too!

This is the best swim school for my kids! The teachers are well trained to teach children and always very encouraging. John was very kind to my children when learning that one of them had a traumatic experience with water somewhere else. He extended and lifted his confidence in water. And is always ready to answer my questions, concerns and help me understand to help my kids progress. Both my kids look forward to their swimming class every week. Thank you for providing an effective and calm learning atmosphere! Forever grateful that my friend recommended this school to us and for John’s expertise and patience. Our kids have been swimming with JSSS for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend John and all the experienced swim teachers at JSSS any day. Over the last 6 years, we have tried at least 6+ other swim schools with very slow progress. After coming to JSSS after Covid lockdowns, the step change in the kids’ water confidence, skills/techniques and love for swimming was significant. Both kids look forward to coming to class each week. As parents, we love the small class ratio, no floating device philosophy and focus on learning small techniques that are built up to support a specific stroke. Highly recommend JSSS to anyone considering swim lessons for their kids.

I’ve loved this swim school for 2 of my kids. The class size, flexibility of the team, and each instructor we have had in the past 2 years have been amazing! When we have concerns, the managers and owners, addresses it promptly and with understanding, that I truly appreciate their professionalism. We have previously done council pools swim schools with my older kids, taken 18 months of swim lessons in Chicago.. and so glad we have found John Sudgen! We knew we would never return to council pools after Chicago, and John Sudgen provided us with that skills and level of professionalism. I loved it so much and 7 different sets of families to the school, and everyone been living n enjoying the classes.
