Josh Horvat - Music Tuition

Josh has been teaching my 11 yr old son for 1 year. Josh has inspired my son, & naturally embraced Parker’s love for music that he didn’t know he had. The progression of Parker’s skill is impressive. Josh has been a role model & weekly lessons are something Parker looks forward to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOSH.

I had the great pleasure of having Josh as a music teacher for around 1 year. I am a relatively advanced guitarist who was looking to expand on my theoretical and scale knowledge and to explore new musical avenues. Josh was very receptive to my needs. He tailored lessons to my goals and threw in a heap of interesting ideas. He is a very accomplished musician and guitarist. His calm and friendly personality made lessons a pleasure. Not only did I achieve my goals, I have also been introduced to some great music that I probably otherwise wouldn’t have come across. I had many an interesting discussion with Josh about all facets of music and creativity, including the nuts and bolts of computer interfaces and recording. I wholeheartedly recommend Josh whether you’re just beginning your music journey, well advanced or anything in between.

Josh has been a wonderful teacher for my 11 and 9 year old boys. Josh is calm, kind, gentle and incredibly patient with these two learners. He creates lessons to match their interests, including Minecraft theme songs and mission impossible. We couldn't be happier with his guitar school.

Josh is a very kind, patient and knowledgable teacher. He showed me some scales and tricks to improve my creativity and spice up my playing a little and gave me some very helpful tricks for my songwriting. Would recommend 10/10 best teacher i had so far :)

Josh is an absolutely excellent teacher that listens to exactly what you are trying to achieve. Actively helps improve technique while also getting excited when you progress well. He’s also working on some cool projects as well. Great teacher for someone just starting out!
