Kia Music Academy

My son really enjoys electric guitar lessons with Kia because he's not just learning, but learning while playing the type of music he enjoys. He continues to grow in confidence and ability and I would have no reservations in recommending Kia to others looking for a friendly and talented guitar teacher who knows how to challenge and motivate his students without compromising on fun.

I’m currently taking guitar classes with Kia and it has been the best experience so far. He’s super patient and explains things clearly which makes learning less intimidating. I also really liked that after the trial he checked in to see what my goal was so I could get my lessons tailored to what I want to achieve. I’m excited to keep improving and hopefully one day throw some gigs in my living room. Cannot recommend this young man enough.

We’re only a few months in and I couldn’t be happier with how things are going! My 14-year-old daughter absolutely loves her drum lessons with Kia — she looks forward to every single session, which says a lot. What really stands out is Kia’s a natural ability to keep things fun and engaging without losing sight of proper technique, so my daughter is actually learning to play well, not just bashing around. That balance is hard to find and we really appreciate it. The biggest thing for us has been watching her confidence grow. She’s gone from being a bit hesitant to genuinely proud of what she can do. I have been learning piano with Ben at Kia Academy for 11 months. As an adult learner, it has been a personally challenging and yet fulfilling journey. I appreciate the flexibility at this academy which is unlike the more rigid term time/ payment schedules with some other institutions. Ben has adapted his style and approach to suit my needs as an adult learner. Kia has sought feedback proactively and implemented any changes I suggested. I find them to be modern, adaptable, and willing to flex with the learner. Would definitely recommend them!
