Kick Dance Studio

I went to Kick Dance Studio to attend two auditions hosted there by another company, and I genuinely could not have had a better experience. Lisa, the founder, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive from the moment I arrived. She immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease before what were very nerve-racking auditions for me, and her warmth truly stood out. Although I have not personally taken classes at the studio, the facilities looked amazing, and the overall atmosphere felt positive, professional, and encouraging.

We've had such a wonderful experience at this dance school. My daughter has grown so much in both skill and confidence. The teachers are incredible and I love that there is a strong focus on proper classical training but it's still such a fun positive environment. The concerts are so well run and truly professional.

My daughter had to write about her favourite place in the world for a school assignment once. She didn’t hesitate when she chose to write about Kick Dance. She has made many life long friends and I know that she just loves feeling and being a part of the Kick Dance family. They do fun musical theatre performances, wonderful end of year concerts and enter Eisteddfods throughout the year. There are experienced teachers and dedicated owners who genuinely care about your child’s well-being and have instilled a passion and love for performing in my daughter. They have built a really lovely community and the older students who dance there, and often assist in teaching, are great role models for the younger kids. There is also a friendly army of parents and volunteers who are only too willing to help out with things like costuming and uniform requirements. They have saved this somewhat clueless dance mum on several occasions. I am forever grateful for the influence that Kick Dance has played in my daughter’s confidence and happiness. It is a welcoming, fun and inclusive environment where creativity, passion and being yourself is celebrated. 5 stars!

I really cannot speak highly enough of Kick Dance, the team and Lisa and Char. My two daughters have been attending for 3 years now and we can’t imagine dancing anywhere else. What I love most about Kick is that they are professional, driven and committed to moulding the best dancers with high standards, but they do it in a way that is loving, supportive and encouraging rather than strict.

My son has been dancing with Kick for a couple years now. He lives for Irish and tap dancing. It's been really important and inspiring for him to see other boys dancing too. It's a caring environment.
