Kidko Music School

Kidko is an amazing music school. The co-founder and co-director, Rebecca Chambers, is a charismatic, energetic and inspirational leader. As well as being a world-class pianist and a former Young Australian of the Year, she is an outstanding teacher --- kind, patient, considerate, tolerant and flexible. She brings out the best in her students, who consistently achieve excellent results. And she carefully selects music teachers who share her passion for music and for instilling a love of music in their students. Our son has been learning piano from Rebecca for six years, and she has done a brilliant job of developing his musical prowess. Those who experience the Kidko style of teaching are enormously fortunate.

My 10 y.o. son has had piano lessons with Kidko for the past few years and I have been exceptionally impressed by both the genuine care for the individual student and the quality of teaching at every stage. Rebecca and Sam (and previous teachers) have all been absolutely fantastic. They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the learning experience is tailored to the individual needs of the student and most importantly, to keep it as fun and enjoyable for kids as possible so they are actually motivated to learn music! I cannot speak highly enough about them. 😎

3 of my children learn with Kidko and we could not be happier. The founder Rebecca is an incredible role model for young performers and all of their teachers are experienced, friendly and enthusiastic. My kids love learning piano and singing through Kidko and have also built their confidence in performing on stage in front of others.

Kidko have greatly supported our 2 children’s musical learning for nearly 10 years. Rebecca and her teaching team are highly qualified and passionate professionals, who take a genuine responsibility in developing their student’s learning and love of music. Kidko provide students many opportunities to challenge themselves with live performances to close family and friends, as well as closely supports student through the examination pathways. Our family has always found their services value for money and flexible timing to cater to our children’s multiple interests. I would highly recommend Kidko as a wonderful way to begin any young person’s musical journey.

My daughter (6 year old) has been learning violin and piano at Kidko for almost 1 year now. I see her happily going for her classes. Enjoying learning music with very patient teachers who make learning fun for such young kids. Recently, Kidko organised the music concert where all children performed and it was a wonderful idea to encourage children to perform in front of an audience. Great Job Kidko. 👍
