My children have been swimming here for years. The pool is conveniently located in the suburbs of west Belconnen, is always clean and tidy and the staff are fantastic. We have had nothing but positive experiences here and I highly recommend this junior swim school to local parents looking to enrol their kids.

My children learn very well. My first child is already in K5 my second child and K2 or three my baby kid is in K1. That’s how well we learn.

We haven’t had a good start with Kingswim. My kid and I liked her first trial class. Then we were booked for the first class and was told I will get instruction to use the app and I would have to pay for the entire month on that first day which was totally fine. But my kid then was sick and I called to cancel. The staff told me that I still needed to pay and we will get a token for makeup class. I did pay and the next week my kid still had cough so I had to cancel the class again. No one told me that only one class per month is permitted for token. When I called to cancel the second class, the staff even explained to me that the token will be made after the class finished but not mentioning about the policy of only one token per calendar is permitted. If I knew that I totally could wait for my kid get well to start enrolment and make payment. I feel being pushed and forced rushing to enrol but not being fully informed. I understand that it is noted in the Policy part in the app but for someone who first only communicated by phone and email, the main policy should also be informed verbally or attached in the enrolment email. A bit disappointed with the communication from the Kingswim staff.

My two boys leaning swimming there. Why did I only give two stars? Because the teachers' levels vary greatly. If you are lucky enough to meet an experienced one, that's fine. But otherwise, it's very troublesome. My younger son's teacher is almost absent every week. He has been at this level for almost a year. I went to report the problem to the teacher. A person who seemed to be in charge told me that this was quite common and some children would stay for two and a half years. I was surprised. How many years does a child have in total? This shouldn't be something I need to worry about. Since it's the school, they should be well aware or make timely adjustments.

10 years ago my friend attended swimming classes here, one day she was learning to dive and when she jumped the instructor pushed her feet up to change her angle, she ended up hitting the floor of the pool head first. she broke her nose and has had breathing problems since. When her parents went to talk to the school they told them there was no evidence. Would definitely avoid 😬
